Two Power Source in Series, the Net Power?

09/14/2010 3:10 AM

I am sorry about a little bit confusion. Two batteries each 12V 120AH are connected in series, what would be the net available power?
1) 24V 120AH
2) 24V 240AH.

your asking power yet you just gave your batteries Ah capacity...your power will still depend on the load you are going to connect..your ampere hour is like mileage of a car filled with a certain level of fuel..

This is how the calculation is made:

For series connection: AH remains same, voltage is added

For parallel connection: AH is added, voltage remains same
