One and One....

what about one hydraulic "hub" motor and one electric hub motor...driving the rear wheels....or maybe opposite sides of one centered rear wheel... or two wheels closer together with "free wheel" capabilities.... I have no clue what the benefits are other than weight savings....

... and thus two systems, each with their own monitor and contol issues, synchronization issues, heat dissipation issues, braking and acceleration issues...

Off hand, I can see no benefit at all.

Great idea! Now, what drives these motors? Neither motor can make it's own power.

So, now we've got an electric generator for the electric motor and a hydraulic pump for the fluid drive. These are driven by????????????

That diesel engine, I'll bet.

What weight savings?

Twice the cost, twice the complexity, twice as likely to break down.

one wheel at rear instability when cornering

one hydraulic motor one side one electric other side, what about when you go round corners the outside wheel goes faster than the inside

otherwise fantastic idea
