What is the crieteria for selecting Copper Bus Bars for current load and the calculation method of arrving at the sizes of these bars for ones requirement?

Apart from breaking up cast iron baths, cable sizing and power factor correction, busbar sizing is one of CR4's most popular topics. Take a look at these for example. Someone there must know, surely?

I think it would look quite nice a bank of highly polished copper bars running the length of a bus.
