Non Rated Spade Blind

09/15/2010 5:40 AM

I have a 3" NB 4mm thick non rated spade. This will go in between 2 x 150# flanges. Will this thickness of spade be good for 12 Bar? The temp is ambient 30Deg C and the product in the line is gas. Thanks

A hydraulic test to 1.5 times the working pressure would answer the question. Go for it.
