Factory Sheeting vis-a-vis Flooring

09/16/2010 8:45 AM

Is it necessary to have top sheet erection completed for commencing the flooring works in a factory building. We are planning to go for VDF (vacuum dewatered flooring)

Regards,

Prashanth

If "top sheet erection" implies the roof of the structure then I would say yes unless you are in an area that will not get rain, high humidity, or heavy dew.

The VDF still needs curing time after dewatering and re-introduction of water/moisture prior to cure is a no-no with this type of floor.

Use Google and "vacuum de-watered flooring" for more information.

Good Luck!
