Hey guys,

It took me a while, but this works, it's cheap, it's fast and it doesn't take up too much space.

There were many great posts that would work and I really appreciate everyones help.

This is a combination of my thought about nylon weed trimmer cord, combined with other suggestions from you guys. These pictures are fairly unpolished, but the end product will look very similar, just more uniform shape and rounded ends to prevent eye poking.

I don't know if I could have come up with this on my own. I was waaaaay overthinking it. Thanks Again!

As always, if you guys have any further ideas or suggestions, I'm open.

Nice job.

My only suggestion would be to shorten the "hooks". But maybe the added length helps them stay in place?

That's a possibility. There will ultimately be an optimum length.

It all seems a little anticlimactic after such a thrill ride of a thread, it took me a while to find an adhesive that would hold them in securely.

KISS RULES! (Keep it simple stupid)

PS- Nylon trimmer line doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. I also used it to repair the hinges on my cooler.
