LG GM750 Windows Mobile Searching for English Version OS

09/17/2010 12:57 PM

Hello friends,

I have an LG GM 750 Windows Mobile ''Vodafone" bought in Athens Greece, with Greek version Windows Software. I tried to change the language to English but it was impossible. The local LG dealer is not able to change it either... I need help. I must change it to the English version software, because my wife doesn't know Greek!

If not even LG was able to help, then my advice is to keep it for yourself and buy the wife another one in the USA.

Hi Yahlasit,

My intention is to find out how I can delete this Greek window version (6.5) and download an English version into the device. LG officially cannot do it.. Because in Greece the company (LG) offers only the Greek version (vodafone). Of course I was not aware before I buy it, that I can not change the language.

The devil is usually in the detail (fine print). [I have nothing to do with Vodafone, LG etc] Cell/mobile phones aren't sold specifically to one country. Check the user guide booklet which SHOULD have been supplied with the phone. There SHOULD be a section which advises how to change / select another language, - which may be as easy as scrolling through the relevant menu. I would strongly suggest NOT deleting the Greek language version installed on the phone. PS check with another dealer or supplier - they may be able to offer more help.

I can change the language on the telephone but not on the (Greek) windows.. unfortunately. Any way, thank you for your advice.
