Analysis of Crude Oil

Hi, would you recommend me someone analyzer for measuring the quality of crude oil. I need to continuously measure the water content, sodium chloride and impurities. Thanks for your help.

I worked in refinery for a while and saw our quality control people used various types of apparatus to analyze the crude in the laboratory. One that is commonly used was GC (Gas Chromatograph). You can explore it to see it serves your intended purpose.

Typically this is done by a number of test. As was previously stated, gas chromotography will determine the ratio of hydrocarbons in the oil. For sodium chloide, a basic chlorine test is done. In addition to these test and numerous other test that are performed, these are done in a dedicated laboratory.
