Mystery Drive

09/21/2010 10:52 AM

I have a variable frequency drive (VFD) that I need to get a manual for so that I can retrieve the parameter settings without altering or losing them. It is an EMS drive and I have been able to obtain the following information from data stickers on the housing: Model # CIMR-G5U44PO; Ser. # 992600184; Spec. 44PO1F; Input AC 3 Phase 380-480v 50 HZ/60 HZ 14.0A; Output AC 3 Phase 0-480V, 0-400 HZ 11.7A

Lot # U-9909213-0028; UL File# E131457; Mass 4.5 kg

There's also an address on the front cover. I can't make out the first 2 digits, but I can make out 896 Kemper Springs Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45240. I'm fairly certain that this company no longer exists, but if anyone has any information regarding this company or the drive, I'd appreciate any help I can get.

It's a Saftronics drive. They don't make them anymore - the company was subsumed into Control Techniques. I believe it is a VG5 drive:
