Necessary to Connect Fuse at Negative Terminal of a DC Voltage System?

In one of the projects i had to design a dc distribution board..In the control circuit i had put only one fuse at the positive side..i have a doubt whether to install a fuse on the negative side of the control circuit..control voltage is 120v dc...

DC distribution systems are typically run ungrounded. Battery chargers today usually include ground fault detection for this reason - the system can continue to operate if the DC becomes grounded inadvertently, but there is an alarm so you can troubleshoot and correct it before you have more problems.

Therefore, both the DC+ and DC- should be fused, because the fuse in the positive side won't protect everything in your circuit in the event of a shorted component.
