Why people using Heat detetctor in the toilet for fire alarm system?

Methane is flammable in sufficient concentrations. (The Skull & Bones Club probably has minutes on this.) Nonetheless, it would be better to detect the gas composition before the thermal excursion occurs.

Papers not a problem in my local pub, there's never any in there!

Still a £50 fine for having a fag though, if you get caught.

Angry employees are most likely to start a fire in the bathroom, since video surveillance is not allowed, and they will be long gone before the fire gets big enough to draw attention. It's an ideal spot for this device.
