why low speed induction motor runs with lowe power factor

Please mull over problems before asking.

Low Load = Low active power? = low active ....

However The magnetisation current is dependent on ... and hence remains same?

Hence the power factor .....

Fill the blanks.

Good observation! Low Speed Induction Motor will have more number of poles. Hence, the core area that needs to be magnetised also is more. You need more flux or more magnetising current to excite the larger core. As the magnetising current is more, the power factor is low.

By the by, have you also observed that for the same HP, the low speed motor frame size is bigger than the motor of higher speed of same HP?
