Is there anyway to connect a number to a name other then using the tracer reports that are in abundance on google? I don't know anyone at the phone company.

I use a 'disposable' cell phone... if you had my number, you would never be able to surreptitiously discover my name: there exists no connection to me.

However, if you called me I would tell you my name, but I am not hiding from anyone!

Sorry, Wrong Number. If I ever heard of it I had forgotten.

I had to Wiki it (is there anything Wiki does not know a little bit about?) Sounds like a good suspense film, star-studded cast.

Maybe it's just my suspicious nature, but stalking comes to mind as one reason this might not be easy, or legal.

If you can't find it by searching on-line, maybe you aren't supposed to know!

Some city and phone directories have a reverse section where you can look up the number and get the name. This feature could be used for bad purposes, but this is offset by good purposes, such as finding the source of improper phone calls.

Telephone tag, anyone?
