Guest,

You are slightly off track here.

There is such a thing as a "Spectacle Blind"

and

There is such a thing as a "Blind Flange"

but

There is no such thing as a "Spectacle Blind Flange".

A"Spectacle Blind" is a Plate type device that id slipped between two flanges to provide a positive shut-off for safety reasons and equipment or system isolation. The Spectacle Blind can come in two configurations: there is the "Figure "8" version with both the plate and the spacer joined together as one unit.

Or there is the "Disc & Donut" version which is two separate pieces (one Disc and one ring spacer).

For the Spectacle Blinds the outside diameter is the same diameter as the "Raised Gasket surface" and has no Bolt Holes.

A "Blind Flange" is a thick flat plate (the same outside diameter as the outside diameter as a normal flange) with the same Bolt holes as the normal flange.

I hope this helps you.
