There are no required lumens for bedroom, living room, etc. nor required led's

The brighter you like it, the more lumens you will need.

I would suggest putting lighting on a dimmer, that way you can adjust brightness, (lumens), according to your mood.

Do you mean candela;

1 candela of luminous intensity equals 1 lumen of luminous flux per steradian of solid angle, where a steradian respresents a cone whose surface area at the end equals the length of the cone squared.

Luminous Intensity = Luminous Flux / Solid Angle of Beam

where: Luminous intensity is measured in Candela (cd)

Luminous flux in measured in Lumens (lm), and the solid angle of the beam is measured in Steradian (sr)

Here are some lighting information, formula and web link that might help:

Lumen and Candle Power (candela) = The way of measuring how much light is produced by a light source

Candle Power = 12.57 (4xPI) Lumen

Lux and Foot-candles = The way of measuring the intensity of light falling to an object.

Lux = Lumen/sq. meter (lux is also called meter-candles)

Foot-candles = Lumen/sq. feet

Foot-candles = 10.76 Lux

Average Maintained Illumination (Foot-candles) = (Lamps/Fixture x Lumens/Lamp x No. of Fixtures x Coefficient of Utilization x Light Loss Factor) ÷ Area in Square Feet

Required intensity of light (foot-candles) for different areas:

General Office/Control room - 50

Switchgear room/Generator building - 30

Desk Office/Workshop/Ware House - 70

Walkway/Stairway/Open Deck Area - 5
