Candy Manufacturing

10/07/2010 2:07 PM

We have a patent pending on a product that includes grass seed and grass pellets. We are looking for a way to apply glue to the pellet, then apply seed and then dry. We have the glue and the product is superior to the two leaders in the industry of lawn patch. What we need is a process that will do 5 tons per hour. HELP

Jim

Is it the glue, the seeds, or the pellets that makes the candy taste better?

Something doesn't make sense here, "Candy manufacture", "grass seed and grass pellets", "glue", "lawn patch"? Who is this candy for, farm animals perhaps? This sounds more like lawn seed mat carpeting (or similar).

Can you please clarify exactly what the product is for and who the target market is, as the glue or binder or what ever you require will depend on the specific application and consumer (be it human, animal or grass).

Chocolate should hold the seeds on the pellet.

I think your thinking of Caramel. Caramel is the glue that holds the confectionery together, chocolate is just the tasty wrapper that helps market the product.

This is an obvious departure from your normal product line, right?

Why Use Pellet Fuel?
Wood Pellets
Energy bricks

Plant Construction

I, too am confused by the title.

More info please.

Hey guys, has any of you considered the possibility that maybe, just maybe this guy wants to produce marijuana (i.e. grass) flavored or laced candy?
