Potential Transformer Size-Up

hi,

could anybody help-out with potential transformer sizing...

my closest clue here is regarding the voltage applications, do i have to compute for it??..

Voltage ratio incoming and required out put voltage

The class of accuracy as per purpose of metering and/ or protection

cooling air cool or oil cool

mounting details and class of enclosure for installation as indoor / outdoor

The only thing I would add to what Nascon listed is to total the burdens of what you are feeding with the PT (meters, relays, etc.) plus consider how long your wiring will be for voltage drop issues. Most PTs for meter, instrument, and protection use are from several hundred to several thousand VA rated, so pick one that gives you adequate capacity for your loads.

have already picked-up it's size...1kVA, 15kv/110v, air-cooled, and it's only load is a power manager device...
