Frequency - Increase-Decrease

What happen when 10 hp 1440 rpm 3phase 50 Hz rated motor use with40hz power other mean what effect on induction moter,s speed,amp.&load capacity from increase-decrese of frequency

Frequency has direct impact on RPM - N = 120f/p where f is frequency and p number of poles n here 1500 sync speed means 4 pole hence change due lower frequency shall have sync speed as 1200 RMP

Accordingly speed - torque curve will change

It would be better to state that the motor will be operating on a different characterisic curve because of the changed frequency.
