"Working Your Network, Vol. 1: Managing Technology From Survival to Success" by Mark Champion is a great book for dealing with any business that is looking for a cutting edge.

For 1) Engineering Fluid Mechanics (Roberson/Crowe)-ISBN 0-395-28357-4. This saved my neck during a first degree in engineering (I was studying it as a subsidiary subject , so I don't know if it's detailed enough for you needs)

Way back then (early '80s) you could get a freebie called the "Atlas Copco Manual" from said company which covers the other areas.

Again , I'm not sure of the reason for your question , but Engineering Mathematics (Stroud ISBN 0-333-44887-1) is a great read for engineering students.

Good luck , Kris

Pumps, Compressors, exchangers and other process equipment does not work very well without piping. You might want to consider one or more of the following:

Process Plant Piping Books (Reference and Training)

For those individuals who are new to the piping profession and want sources to expand their knowledge.
There are a lot of books that address the subject of piping. Some books address HVAC and other building systems piping. Some address fire protection piping. There are still others that address hygienic piping. Finally, there are the books that address process plant piping. Process plants (in this context) are refineries, chemical plants, power plants, waste treatment plants, and others.
The books listed here are piping books for process plants and are just a few of the total that may be available. These happen to be the ones I have in my library. I have used all of these during my career while both working and teaching.

It seem that I have some in the list.

But I don't read them very carefully.
