go to the campell website some of the older software was free. communications, programmig and the modem were the 3 pieces of software i used at the time. your pc will need a rs232 connector unless you plan to dump the program into the datalogger using one of campells data cans. You also need a programming manuel or programming cheat cheat. plus you need a modem on either end to communicate with each other. I set up my units 6 dataloggers)with seperate cellphone accounts so i could call the units from my laptops via cell phone. Later i integrated my palm pilot to due the same. good luck
