D-4 Engine Problems

I was driving my 2004 premio d-4 cvt along the highway and the engine suddenly went off................at a 100 kph. To date it is down. The mechanic says it is probably the throttle sensor that is faulty. Any ideas?

Did you run out of petrol? If not, listen to your mechanic. He's seen the car. We have not and we are not psychic.
