Bus Tie Duct

10/26/2010 11:13 AM

Dear Friends,

I hope you all are well and busy in your professional life.

i have to design a bus tie duct to hook-up newly installed power plant of 12MW with my existing Gird Main bus Bar. this newly installed power plant will first synchronized with existing supply which is coming from a 25MW transformer(132kV/6.3kV). then this 37MW supply will have to hook-up with main bus bar... i have to design a bus tie duct for 37MW and 25MW. the system voltage is 6.3kV.

Im a project engineer not a designer... but due to some reason, i have to design myself and prepare a proposal for bus tie duct..

so i request u ppl to plz help me... if u have any standard procedure to design a bus tie duct.. so plz share with me..

thanking in anticipation..
