Two Proximity Sensors in Parallel Operation

There is a proximity sensor 24VDC, PNP, NO, range 10mm at my machine for stopping a pusher device. I want to install another Prox sensor with same spec in parallel with old so that if anyone of both operate, the pusher stop device stop. But problem is that for example if PS 1 is operated (out put high) and PS 2 is not (out put low) the +24V from PS 1 can damage the PS 2 output side? Because if both operate simultaneously the no problem but if one is operated and one not then a question mark.
