lap Joint Flange

how can we join hape pipe with cs pipe with stub lap joint?

1. Slide a back-up ring onto the HDPE pipe.

2. Fusion weld an HDPE stub flange adapter onto the HDPE pipe.

3. Weld or screw a matching flange onto the CS pipe.

4. Bolt the back-up ring and the flange together with a gasket between.
