How To Calculate Roll Machining Time?

Does anyone know how to calculate roll machining time?.. I already collected some data to do calculation but dont have formula to get machining time.

Dia. roll to be machine = 500 mm

Length barrel = 700mm

V= 40m/min

Feedrate= unknown

Assume that, i want to cut the roll about 10mm for the whole length. So, how long it takes to finish this job..??

Tell us about your equipment as well as the handling procedures. We need a lot more information to calculate.

Start timer. Make 10 sample parts. Stop timer.

Divide the total time by 10. There's your formula.
