Problem with Website Publishing

11/08/2010 11:29 AM

Hi, I've problem with publishing website. to be more specific- I can see http://exampledomain.co.in but not http://www.exampledomain.co.in Let me tell you in detail. First I built a site using weebly, and then bought a domain from outside. There in the control panel- I added a domain forwarding feature to weebly site, and then modified DNS register. Specifically added IP address provided weebly. I hope I've provided enough information, please ask me if you need more information but I express my inability to provide specific domain name as I have to maintain the confidentiality of the site owner. Thank you

One way to maintain confidentiality would be not to create a Website in the first place....

And your way of replying is a great way to admit "I don't know how to contribute constructively ".

Don't like a dab of irony, eh?

I'm not sure if co.in works the same as co.cc but according to this link below, you can't redirect a co.cc domain to another co.cc domain for reasons due to spammers.

Try his trick for a 3rd party URL in between like tinyurl.com and see if that works.

If that isn't your problem then it's probably something on the domain registrar settings.

Otherwise check out this link, different site than you are using but similar concept.

I fixed it. Problem was with A registers..... weebly support was instrumental... :) first I was publishing as a .weebly.com. After publishing directly to the domain and then deleting unnecessary IP pointing in A- Registers, I could fix it.. :) Thank you people for you input and time, and links.. :)
