Anonymous Poster	2000 Chevy Cavalier 4 Cyl 2.2 11/14/2010 4:04 PM
	Ok I went to start it this morning and it acted as if it had a dead battery but I hooked it up to jump start it nothing heater went on lights turned on every thing except it didn't start no noises or any thing didn't leave any lights on I just don't know what it could be

	With the heater and lights on, when you turn the key to the start position, does the heater/lights stop/turn off? If so, check the battery connection/wiring. If not, check the starter solenoid/starter and associated wiring. __________________ The first 5 days after a weekend are always the hardest................................

This vehicle is the ~~biggest piece of shit~~ most problem prone vehicle ever produced by anyone.

	Check the purple wire on the starter motor. The power goes from the ignition switch, through either the neutral safety switch, or the clutch release switch, then to the starter. Good luck. __________________ Bob
