BOPP Curving

11/16/2010 2:50 AM

Hello,

I would like to ask for help in area of possible reasons for curling of BOPP matherial after it is printed with UV collors and covered with wather based varnish.

Can anyone help me?

"BOPP matherial"?

"UV collors"?

"Wather"?

If you are only coating one side, it's probably due to shrinkage during wather (water) evaporation.

How about some meaningful information.

Thank you for first replays.

The matherial is IML bopp matherial 60 and 75 micronTreoffan EUH

Collors are on 1 side UV flexo

Varnish we tried UV and wather based (we encountered problems with both).

Curing of inks: UV with chill drums on other side to prevent overheating

Curing of Varnish: UV same as collors, wather based with hot air

Please do help, its a huge burden not to know why 20% of products curle...

Regards,
