Automatic Switching System for Motor Using Electrolysis

11/16/2010 4:13 AM

as we know electrolysis is a very simple process...... flow of electrons between two conducting plates plates placed in a conducting fluid...... in case of motors filling tanks by placing one plate below level and the other at upper level.. if the tank is filled bith plates starts conduting then by this output can we do any switching system?

Conductive level sensors are commercially widely available. What's that got to do with electrolysis, though?

Do Ph/redox controllers apply or is the process more involved?

Simple process or not, your description of electrolysis is incorrect. Current in the conducting fluid is by +ve and -ve ions, not electrons.

Conductivity probes are readily available, but as PWSlack asks, what's that got to do with electrolysis? Also why mention a motor? You can do what you like with the level signal. How does a motor fill a tank?
