Looking for info on an obsolete component

03/20/2007 9:02 PM

Hi

I am looking for any info that can be provided on a part called MC3G04KIA6-5

As far as I know, it was made by Temic - who dont exist anymore. Some parts went to Amtel, others to Telefunken.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

John

Try this. It took some time to google for this. I couldn't get a direct link to a pdf datasheet but if you click on the pdf icon, they will tell you to email them for the datasheet. 'Better than nothing. Good luck.

Vulcan is right. Google it - newyorksemicon.com ? You didn't say if you simply wanted it or wanted to know about it. Old bits can be found , but I think it's really just a web-crawl job (unless you can find a device that would have one and scavenge it ) . Good luck. Kris

No, there isn't. When you click it, it says that there is no datasheet available on the site but you can email the company and ask for a copy. Go ahead, no harm in trying.

Those guys with the parts for sale are discontinued parts specilists. They buy up old parts and when you need them, they want $100 each. Tell them you have 500 to sell, and see what they offer you. 5 cents?

yes, they are one of those companies that charge and arm + leg for old maintenance parts. I suppose they fill a need.

John,

Try this site.

They have data sheets on about a million old electronic parts, (no exaggeration.)
