Safety-Scan

11/20/2010 4:00 AM

Hi all

We have a 22 year old Brake Press with Safety-Scan light beam device which currently is not working. The company shown on the label is A.G.R. Industries, Adelaide (which is where I live), but the company no longer exists. Can anyone provide any information on this device. A manual would be heaven.

Thanks Tony

These people may not be able to help you directly, but may get you on the right path. Maybe worth an email.

Looking over the industry they call these things "safety curtains"

Microguard Safety Curtain for example. There are many makers. Looks through these and see if you can find the maker of the one you have (it may have been a USA/UK model made under licence)

Hi all

Thanks you all for your replies, it would appear our best option is to disconnect it as it appears to be stopping the ram programming. Does anyone know how to do this?

Grochy do you have any more details about the man from Adelaide?

Tony
