We'll have to know if it's Syria or Lebanon before we can give you an answer.

If your boss stands on his head, maybe it will be okay.

More seriously, examine what insulation type the cable actually is. Some kinds may be suitable for either overhead or buried installation. The amperage capacity may differ for the two situations.

As Tornado said, all cable are not rated to be used underground due the the insulation on the cable. I have retrieved some of the insulation from the NEC for you.

Damp Locations. Insulated conductors and cables used in damp locations shall be Types RHW, RHW-2, THHN, THW, THW-2, THHW, THWN, THWN-2, TW, XHH, XHHW, XHHW-2, Z, or ZW.

Wet Locations. Insulated conductors and cables used in wet locations shall be

Types MTW, RHW, RHW-2, TW, THW, THW-2, THHW, THWN, THWN-2, XHHW, XHHW-2, ZW

Notice the cables have a W included to indicate wet locations.

That's not a good idea, because of many issues you have to due with before installation - first is water ingress, second is mechanical protection, third is arcing between phases, if it is HV cable...

The question is. "is it possible"

well hell yes it's possible

you can bury barbed wire if you want

what happens to it afterwards is...well...

gotta use your own shovel though

my wife's using mine
