132 kv Lightening arrestor

11/25/2010 1:07 AM

Dear all,

Please anybody can tell me about 132 kv lightening arrestor leakage current. I would like to know, what is the maximum acceptable leakage current of 132 kv lightening arrestor.

This has to be a joke. You are the second person this week to ask a theoretical question about the exact same extreme voltage.

Power line work should only be done by authorized personnel. Amateurs should never work around this or for a similar voltage this. If you do work for a power distribution firm, consult your colleagues.

Minor point: it's "lightning" rather than "lightening" (the latter of which means decreasing in weight or becoming paler in color).

And "arrester" rather than "arrestor".

Dont worry, i will tell you. Divide 132kV by the height of lightning arrestor. If you want to lightening it, increase the height.
