Most professional speakers prefer an open stage with a raised podium. However, I did try to research the style of coffin used to inter Samuel Langhorne Clemens without success.
Did I get that one wrong. Maybe Guest wants to build enclosures that help the speaker project their voice when they speak. This might be simpler.
Or, more importantly, why not take advantage of the exciting almost free offer offered by my associate from LynDoor™ Press. You, too can be the envy of all the pimple-faced kids on the block.
Low riders have almost depleted our supplies, so hurry and respond, where not prohibited.
The software mentioned in #1 is included in the next exciting volume in the 'How-To' series, The CR4 Guide to Building Speaker Enclosures. This informative book is full of colorful illustrations, and comes complete with plans for 1,788 different speaker enclosures. Want to talk to the fishes? It's in there. Want to blast the windows out of your neighbors house? It's in there. Want a speaker that will automatically translate between forty six (That's right. FORTY SIX!) different languages? IT'S IN THERE!
This once in a lifetime opportunity is available only from LynDoor™ Press. To place your order, leave a response with this thread, and a sales representative will contact you with our Nigerian account number for immediate funds transfer.
Limited to stock on hand. Offer not valid in Cuba, Armenia, Finland, Panama, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Spain.. this offer is pretty much invalid everywhere.
I don't know who or how old you are, guest, but you should think a little before you ask a question here or anywhere. I understand that you wish to build your own business making professional speaker enclosures. Well any and all businesses require a lot of work. If you demonstrate that you are capable of doing this work or understanding the complexities of this work then people may grant you some of their hard earned knowledge. When you offer people nothing for their knowledge, you should expect ridicule.
I will give you one small hint of what you should know. Examine the articles on the web about the Thiel-Small parameters of a loudspeaker. When and if you understand this theory, then and only then might you be able to predictably fabricate prototype professional cabinets from drivers that others have produced. Keep in mind though that this is just a start for you. People do not post on the web their proprietary fabrication tricks of their trade. So you will likely not be able to compete with a company like Meyer Sound Laboratories.

I worked in active noise cancellation for 10 years in the 80's. We dealt with many cutting edge speaker companies. In all that time, I only met three people who truly understood Thiel-Small.
Two of them were PhD's and one was a genius from England who didn't own a pair of long pants or a shirt with buttons.
BTW, Harman Kardon (JBL and others) in Northridge California consumed about 25% of all the MDF shipped into the state at that time.
