Pipe Class

can any one expalin what is pipe class in MS piping,Like Class-A,Class-B,Class-C etc

is it same as schedule?? whether i need to spacify Pipe schedule with Class

1. All pipe is to be made of a long hole, surrounded by metal, plastic concrete, clay or ceramic material around the hole

2. All pipe is to be hollow throughout the entire length –do not use holes of different length than the pipe.

3. The inside diameter of all pipes must not exceed their outer diameter –otherwise the hole will be on the outside.

somewhere i found as well as pipe class changes thickness also changes so it is doubtfull for me as i understand it represent tensile strength
