What is the acceptable standard for the installation of pipeline for the transportation of petroleum product?

Try:

AS/NZS 2885; or ASME B31; or The Institute of Petroleum Pipeline Safety Code (IP Part 6) 1982

Pls find below the Codes and Standards which we used in oil and Gas pipline construction :-

(ASME )

B31.4 For Liquid Hadrocarbons and other liquids

B31.8 Gas transmission and distribution piping system

API :-

API 1104 and ASME Code section IX for Welding of piplines and related Facilities .

Iwish these informations help you.

You can use API Code or ASME Code (depend on the owner/insurance request):

- API 1104 : Welding pipeline and related facilities.

- ASME B31.4 : Liquid transportation systems for hydrocarbons, liquid petroleum gas, anhydrous ammonia, and alchols.

If you need further information, pls don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks,,,
