Permanent magnet brushless direct current motor.

The 800 rpm doesn't coordinate too well with 60 Hz, but I don't know what tolerance may apply.

sorry, i am an airplane sheet metal mechanic. i know very little about electrics. I have a patent pending and need to perfect the energy system for it. do you live in Ariz? the rpm is not important at this stage but must be able to start producing elect power at about 200 rpm.

Why not just plug it in?

So far this project is too vague to advise well. There may be proprietary reasons for that, but it would help to know the general nature of the electrical loads this generator needs to supply.

If it can't just be plugged in, one guess is that this would be a mobile device. If it is engine-powered, is there a starting system that includes an alternator and a battery? If so, a cigarette-lighter style of inverter could give you the power you need.
