what is totally enclosed drip proof type motor?

That is not a correct combination of terms.

An open drip-proof (ODP) motor has open vents in the lower portion of the housing, and can tolerate occasional drips from above, but not sprays or splashes from the side or below.

Totally enclosed motors have no openings in the housing. They may TEFC (totally closed, fan cooled), TEAO (air over), or TENV (nonvented).
