Turbine Synchronizing with Grid

Until now I heard of generator synchronised with grid and not turbine...may or may not be a problem

I am an "electrical", but I believe some turbines or gearboxes do not like being "Motored". If you connect with "incoming" frequency low, unit will "motor" unless throttle is opened immediately. I would always suggest connecting with "fast" incoming frequency.
