What are the qualifications required to join and post in this forum?...By seeing the questions in this forum , it look like anybody can do it. Is that correct?...

No qualifications required, that's the problem!

Ideally you should have commen sense and experience in one or more engineering field (and a big fluffty tail).
Formal qualifications are no garantee of any of the above so they are not a prerequisite.

And when you have no common sense or experience, Del's big fluffty tail gets bigger and flufftier!

Becoming a registered user would help.

Internet access seems to be about it.

Helps to have an "animal Nature" about oneself, or a penchant for stone age weapons, or breaking baths...

Staying power is yet a different question...
