Specific Power Consumption

Dear All my question is for spacific power consumption in Vapour compresson system as it is power consumption per TR is this power include everything like Compressor power/chilled water pump power/condenser water pump power/cooling tower fan power
as i read somewhere standard spacific power consumption in case of Reciprocating- .80 KW/TR,Screw- .65KW/TR for Centrifugal -.62KW/TR is this figure include all power or only compressor power

I guess your answer depends upon what it said in the paper you read. Without having that same paper, it is impossible to say what was included in the mentioned power consumption numbers.

Sounds like you need to do a power budget for your proposed vapor compression system yourself.

I'm pretty sure that these KW/TR figures are for the compressors only. It would be possible to account for pumps and fans also, but I don't recall ever seeing such a comparison. It is a good question, though.
