Rename Our Group

We have in the past called ourselved "Environmental Engineering" and "Environmental Testing Services" (part of a State transit agency) specializing in testing of noise, vibration , temperature and other human parameters related to safety and comfort of passengers and workers. But we have over the years added several other functions including equipment calibration, hazardous waste disposal/tracking, chemical reviews (of products such as paints used throughout the system) and safety training. What would be a good name for us that would encompass our original "Environmental Testing" function while including all the additional responsibilities. Feel free to squeeze in hot keywords such as "green" and "sustainability" and of course keep it short and practical. We've already rejected "Polyfunction Test Monkeys", my personal choice.

Well, since you are a part of the state transit agency (I assume that's the department often referred to as 'The Department of Transtipation') you might call your group:

the ENvironmental Engineering and Management Agency (ENEMA).

(sigh) Thank you for all the responses so far. I usually close with the easy jibe after making an effort to offer a solution. But I understand; there is no easy answer to this. There is no short two-to-four word phrase that will fill the bill. We're probably going to settle for "Environmental Testing and Training" even though it doesn't encompass the other items that are pretty high on the list.

I offered "Environmental Testing Plus" (a variation on a serious answer)

In the past we (I) called ourselves "Rapid Action Testing Services) or RATS and the only time we didn't show up is if an "Action Services Survey" had not been submitted. Yes, "If we were not there it's because nobody gave a RATS ASS" (see? the light repartee follows the serious attempt at an answer!)
