Somewhere in Windows XP there is a program that compresses the Outlook data files. I know it's there, because I've watched while a servkice tech took over my computer and ran it after I exceeded te 2GB limit. Trouble is, he navigates through the system so fast I can't folllow him.
This is not the program you run to cure the 2GB problem. First you run that, then you delete a ton of files, and THEN you run this program.
I'm up to 1.5GB again, and--althoiugh I've been killing files like crazy--Outlook doesn't actually delete them. I'd like to compress the system before it gets to 2GB and requires outside service.
