EGR System for Single Cylinder

hi there,, i am working on development of egr system for single cylinder,,,i need to first collect exhaust gas. how can i do that?

Put a big balloon on the exhaust pipe and collect it.

Get real. First a turbo on a 1 cylinder, now this!!

EGR system is to help reduce the formation of nitrogen oxides. Why not just get a NOx sensor and place it on the exhaust. That's what you will be testing the exhaust for? Plus would be easier to twik the system while its running on the engine not after the fact.
