Screw CAP/Plug

01/17/2011 2:14 PM

Am looking for caps/plugs to cover socket head cap screws - M3 and M4.

The requirements are

The outermost surface should be anodized aluminum. Going for a custom aluminum part is definitely expensive. So am planning to use a rubber CAP/Plug that snap fits onto the OD of screwhead / allen opening respectively and then glue aluminum shim on top of it.

Please let me know your suggestions, links to off the shelf rubber or plastic caps/plugs that you have used.

It took less than 30 seconds to find these on Google. Try it yourself!
