First, I had no idea that there are no plurals in "Daylight Saving Time." Second, I remember being taught in elementary school that DST was adjusted so that farmers could have more light. I've known for years that it was incorrect, but it's nice to see it verified.

As a side not every state uses DST. Arizona, Hawaii, and sections of Indiana do not recognize DST. I wonder how much of an effect that has on companies that operate there. Hawaii confused me the most as they have such a large tourism trade, it must be a pain for the airlines.

...at least in Hawaii there is no chance that someone from the next state over drives in one hour late to a meeting.

i still think it is a waste of "time"

and when we roll back the clocks we should split the difference and just do 30 minutes and call it good !!
