current regulator

hello

i want to a constant current supply of 50 or 100ma with input dc voltages in the range of 3 to 5volt., is there any ic which can give this or suggest me any idea abt this.

Almost any of the three terminal regulators can be wired to do this...

Just dig out a data sheet for a LM317LZ for instance and read it... At the back you will find application examples including what you want.
