what is the design procedure for designing nozzles?

Define the requirements of the nozzle and then design it.

Your question seems a bit "studentish" to me. Are you looking for a check llist?

It depends on what you mean by "nozzle."

1. A nozzle can be a device on the end of a pipe or hose that tapers to a smaller diameter in order to increase the fluid velocity; or
2. A nozzle can be a piece of pipe welded to a pressure vessel, serving as an inlet or outlet to the vessel.

These concepts, and the design methods for each, are quite different.
