Steel Pipe Price per Weight ($/tonne)

Hello,

I need to compare 42" pipe api 5L gr.x80 with 36" api 5L gr.80 to estimate $/tonne.

Generally, I wonder if price/weight is the same regardless of pipe grade.

I want to know correlation between $/tonne and $/m of pipe.

If you only knew how to go on the web, look at the hundreds of web-sites that give prices for both types of pipe, and, then if you could only find a way to compare the pricing of the two sizes of pipe, you, too could discover the joy of knowing the cost per pound of pipe.

Then, you could answer your own question. Then you could give yourself a GA.
