CT Ratio

I have a ct coil. its ratio 300/5. when this ct coil connected to three face energy meter, what is the original reading in meter? pls

Ask questions with adquate details

The CT ratio is = 300:5

=60:1

so multiply the reading with 60 times thats all

The typical meter actually "sees" 0-5 amps; what you read depends on whether the scale ratio has been matched to the CT ratio.

CT ration is 300/5A. when u r connecting this CT to Energy meter for measurement purpose, u wil need to calibrate the CT ratio in meter, then only it can show u right readings. in meter, set the CT ratio, it wil auto-calibrate with current from CT

the way ur question posted "three face energy meter" shows that ur not an electrical engineer to work with energy meter. so stay off from electrical systems bcoz it s very danger to equipments as well as you. sorry if am rude..
